South Indian Cheese Dosa

Preparation Time:- 10min(per dosa)

For Batter :-

Besan (Gram flour) - 3/4 cup
Suji (Semolina) - 1/2 cup
Dahi (Curd/Yoghurt) - 1/2 cup
Salt to taste
Water enough to make a perfect consistency

Mix all the above ingredients very well to make the batter.

Other Ingredients :-

Small Onion finely chopped - 1 Small
Capsicum/bell pepper - 1
Processed Cheese cubes/ Mozzarella cheese Butter - 1 tsp per dosa Chilli flakes Oregano

Process :-

  • Heat a non stick flat pan on medium flame, sprinkle few drops of oil, sprinkle few drops of water, wipe it off with the help of a kitchen towel.

  • Make the flame low.

  • Pour in one scoop of batter on the pan, flatten it by moving your hand in clockwise direction.

  • When the top becomes dry, apply 1 teaspoon of butter, grate some cheese, sprinkle some onions and capsicum chopped, sprinkle oregano and chilli flakes.

  • At last increase the flame to medium high to make the dosa crispy. Fold it like dosa, by putting one half on the another half. And it’s ready.
